Accella Tire Fill, Carlisle Construction, changes name to Carlisle TyrFil

Carlisle TyrFil will be the new company name of US-based Carlisle (Carlisle) Construction Material’s polyurethane tyre fill business, Accella Tire Fill Systems. The brand provides global tyre flatproofing solutions for the OTR equipment market. The flagship product line, TyrFil flatproofing, is mainly used in applications where working conditions can be highly hazardous to heavy equipment tyres – the technology ensures tyres “glide over” typical workspace debris such as rocks, glass, nails, rebar and other sharp objects that would otherwise compromise its operators, equipment axles, drive trains, and other supporting structures.

Carlisle’s sustainable polyurethane tyre fill (foam fill) technology also mitigates operational downtime in mining, waste management, construction sites and other similar work environments where equipment is especially prone to dangerous and costly tyre punctures.

The company has noted that there will not be any changes in product formulation or effectiveness with the change in name.

Mike Arnold, Vice President and General Manager for Carlisle TyrFil, said: “This name change completes the evolutionary process to incorporate TyrFil into the Carlisle family of companies. The new name will also help us to extend Carlisle branding to reach new global markets, while further supporting our company’s aim to better serve our growing base of customers within this sector.”

“TyrFil performs better than solid aperture tyres and offers a smoother, safer flatproofed ride, which can extend the life of equipment and guard against potential health risks for equipment operators. Carlisle will continue to deliver a superior polyurethane tyre fill offering, along with our manufacturer’s commitment to be the only global tyre fill provider in the industry that seamlessly integrates manufacturing, technical service, and sales support capabilities all under one roof.”
