JAPAN tyre maker Bridgestone’s US tyre operation is increasing production capacity of passenger car radial tyres and light truck radial tyres at its Aiken Plant in South Carolina. The total investment will be approximately US$211 million.
Plans call for increasing the plants production capacity by 8,000 tyres/day to 37,750 tyres/day during the third quarter of 2015. The expansion will be completed by the first quarter of 2013. (PRA)
