Goodyear says it has enhanced three tire lines to improve fuel economy.
The G399A LHS Fuel Max, G572A LHD Fuel Max and G392A SSD wide-base tire with DuraSeal and Fuel Max have been improved upon to deliver reduced rolling resistance for better fuel economy as well as long miles to removal, Goodyear announced.
All three tires are SmartWay-verified and will be launched in the second quarter. They feature Goodyear’s Fuel Max technology, which the company says contains fuel-saving compounds and advanced design technology to reduce rolling resistance.
“These enhanced tires will help fleets lower their fuel bills, while still delivering long miles to removal. Both of these factors help reduce the fleet’s cost per mile,” said Brian Buckham, marketing manager, Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems. “By combining these tire performance improvements with Goodyear-FleetHQ’s 24/7 roadside service program and business tools that help fleets manage their tire assets, Goodyear delivers the total package solution for fleets of all sizes and configurations.”
