MICHELIN North America Inc. has posted sales of US 9.96 billion in 2012, beating Goodyear by almost US$300 million, according to reports.
Michelin sales in North America, which accounts for the company’s 35.1% corporate sales, have increased by 11.6% in 2012.
Second lead Goodyear’s North America sales in 2012 dropped 2% to $9.67 billion.
Meanwhile, Bridgestone Americas, which is investing more than US$1 billion in its Aiken County operations, was ranked third with North America sales of US$8.1 billion.
Following is Continental A.G., which is building a 1 million-square-foot tyre plant in Sumter, has North America sales of US$2.75 billion over the same period.
