West Bengal-headquartered Phillips Carbon Black Limited (PCBL) is meeting the growing demand for specialty black products with the commissioning of two specialty black lines in Palej, Gujarat, totalling 32,000 metric tonnes/annum.

PCBL, a part of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has a current production capacity of 5,71,000 metric tonnes/annum and generating 76 MW /hour of green power. The company, touted as India’s largest carbon black manufacturer, has four state-of-the-art plants in Durgapur, Palej, Mundra, and Kochi, as well as R&D centres in Palej and Belgium. It also has a base in over 40 countries.
