Marangoni Retreading Systems, a division of the Italian materials developer Marangoni Group, has fully integrated its European product line-up with the launch of a new precured tread range. It features only two brands to reduce product overlapping and continues the company’s rationalisation of production and commercial operations for heavy-duty tyres.
The PRL brand introduces modern treads with the Blackline (BLK) marking – products are cut-to-length based on casing size and are designed for optimal performance in regards to fuel consumption, durability and grip in all road conditions.The high-quality 3PMSF winter trailer BLK-PTW-WSS and the regional drive mileage champion BLK-PDR-HM2 in particular, supports the company’s further development of its premium treads while important products of the previous Kontur line are still present within PRL’s range.
Meanwhile, the Unitread brand’s range has been redesigned for cost-effectiveness of the finished product. The lightweight 10m tread rolls are well-suited for the retreading process which equals tominimised exposure to stress, fatigue and heating during service.
The two updated ranges of procured tyre strips are illustrated in the latest product manual and distinguish the market positioning of the different Marangoni products. The pricing is expected to change with brand and line positioning and while many patterns will be available only on request, alternative products/designs are always available from Marangoni.
