Finnish manufacturer and integrator of robotic handling solutions, Cimcorp will open its new location in Chennai, India, this June, in response to growing demand for local tyre industry automation; the decision to establish a base in Chennai strengthens the company’s position as a leader in material flow automation for tyre manufacturing. The new Indian office also supports Cimcorp’s growth strategy to serve Asian customers better and faster, including both current and future customers in India.
Masatoshi Wakabayashi, Cimcorp CEO has said: “The new office is located in Chennai to enhance our ability to serve both current and future customers in India. The facility will also be our customer support location for Indian clients – enabling the expansion of the comprehensive service network provided in partnership with Cimcorp’s parent company, Murata Machinery Ltd.”
Cimcorp has appointed Pekka Natri as Head of Operations in India – Natri has a long track record in international business, and has worked in India previously. Natri has been working alongside local recruitment specialists to get the best people for the company’s Indian team: “This is a tremendous opportunity for Cimcorp’s growth; with the competence and professionalism of Cimcorp’s Indian personnel, the company can support customers to enable them to focus on their core business even better than before.”
