Poland’s TC Debica S.A. is reducing production of passenger and farm tires. Majority owned by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., the reduction marks the second time this year that TC Debica cut tire production. Goodyear’s order cuts came due to a continued softening in the European market. TC Debica said that due to reduced orders from Goodyear, it would have to reduce passenger tire output by 4% and ag tire production by 6%. In March, TC Debica also trimmed production of medium truck tires by 10% and ag tires by 4.5%.
