The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers (ARPM) has added a new member to its roster when Rahco Rubber Inc., a family-owned manufacturer in Des Plaines, Illinois recently joined the association.
“Rahco Rubber is vertically integrated,” Jack Anton, vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement. “We can create or enhance a polymeric formulation, compound it, mold it, and conduct secondary or assembly operations. We approach opportunities with a VAVE (value added-value engineering) mindset that allows us to drive-in performance and drive-out poor quality while improving economics.”
The company was founded almost 50 years ago by William Anton and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified, precision rubber molder, engineered sealing solutions provider and customer polymer formulator. Its specialty is in low waste flash-less molding.
According to Jack Anton, the company will now participate in the organisation. “Like most things in life the more you put into something the more you’ll get out of it,” Anton said. “We will… give all we can in order to develop relationships and networking partners. Ultimately, we at Rahco Rubber believe that by doing so, our growth opportunities will increase. Our thought process is that we can help to make our industry as a whole stronger, develop mutually beneficial networking opportunities, learn from other industry experts, and take advantage of ARPM’s many resources.”
The ARPM was established in 2010. The association is managed by rubber business leaders and has more than 80 members. It works to provide manufacturers with bottom line impacting programs, networking and other services.
