White Cross Rubber Products Ltd, UK’s specialist manufacturer of rubber sheeting, reinforced rubber sheeting and rubber coated textiles, made an infographic to illustrate how far the concept of ‘rubber cars’ has come in the past six years.
The company was inspired by an idea by former Top Gear host James May. He envisioned vehicles which utilised rubbers of different densities and resiliencies from the outside in which, in simple terms, would make minor collisions unnoticeable.
