The Indian government nominated Mr. Rajendra Gandhi, Managing Director of GRP Ltd, (formerly known as Gujarat Reclaim & Rubber Products Ltd) as president of the Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association (IRMA)
Gandhi, has been associated with IRMRA for several years as member of Governing Council of IRMRA and for the first time a person from Non tyre Rubber Industry has been nominated as President of IRMRA. Gandhi will succeed Dr. Raghupati Singhania who served as president of IRMRA for three years.
Gandhi held numerous positions in rubber organizations. He is an honorary member of All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA). He was also a part of the panel set up by the government to assess raw material requirements of the country’s rubber and tyre industry.
