Versalis Pacific Trading (Shanghai), a Versalis subsidiary in Asia, has started distribution of rubber process oils in the Asian synthetic rubber market. Versalis will be marketing extender oils RAE (residual aromatic extract), TDAE (treated distillate aromatic extract) and MES (mild extract solvate), produced at the Eni refinery in Livorno.
“These products will enable Versalis to widen its commercial offer, presenting itself as a ‘solution provider’ also on the Asian marketplace, mainly in China, offering a comprehensive product portfolio, including synthetic rubber and process oils from both renewable and fossil sources. Added to this is a highly-specialised customer service in terms of technical and logistics support, offered locally by Versalis Pacific Trading, to satisfy an increasingly demanding market.” Eni says in a news release.
