Omni United added 15 sizes of the Timberland Cross line bringing the size count to 35. Timberland Cross is the SUV/CUV line of Timberland Tires, a project that recycles the worn tires into footwear outsoles.
The company will also introduce the new Timberland A/T this month, with a range of 30 sizes.
“We want to demystify tires for this audience, and bring some of the excitement and sizzle of the fashion industry to our category,” said G.S. Sareen, Founder and CEO of Omni United.
Timberland Tires was also recognized last week at the Ethical Corporation’s Sixth Annual Responsible Business Awards ceremony, held in London, as runner-up for the “Sustainable Innovation” category. This award went to the company that demonstrated incorporation of sustainability into commercial objectives, or applied it in addressing a business challenge.
