Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (BSCAP) today announced that more than 10 million ECOPIA passenger car tyres have been sold in the Asia Pacific region1. This milestone was achieved five years after the launch of ECOPIA in the region.3.
When ECOPIA was first launched in 2009, it was a new brand consisting of a single product and made up 2% of Bridgestone Asia Pacific region’s passenger car tyre sales. By 2014, ECOPIA tyres grew rapidly, making up more than 20% of the region’s replacement tyre sales. ECOPIA products sold in Asia Pacific today consist of EP150 for small to medium vehicles, EP200 for medium to large sedans, EP850 for SUV/ CUVs and ECOPIA PZ-X performance touring tyre2.
