Lion Copolymer Geismar, LLC announced a new distribution agreement with the following subsidiaries of Omya, Inc: Durr Marketing Associates, Azalea Color Company, and Lipscomb Chemical Company, effective as of September 1st, 2014. Omya Subsidiaries will become national distributors representing Lion Copolymer’s products in the United States and Canada.
Lion Copolymer is a leading manufacturer of EPDM serving customers globally and operates four EPDM production plants at Geismar, Louisiana marketing its EPDM under the Royalene® and Trilene® trade names. Trilene® is a novel liquid EPDM product which Omya Subsidiaries will actively market to the coatings industry. Omya is a worldwide distributor of specialty chemical products focused on Industrial applications including Automotive, Construction and Coatings and Life Science applications.
