Toyota’s latest pickup to sport Goodyear’s all-terrain tyres

2016-Toyota-Tacoma

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road grade will be exclusively sporting Wrangler All-Terrain tyres from Goodyear.

Toyota says the new Tacoma was designed for active drivers plowing through untamed tracks. The pickup is also rebuilt inside and out with an all-new powertrain and enhanced suspension tuning.

To help drivers reach their destination, both on and off-road, the Tacoma TRD Off-Road grade will be sporting Goodyear’s Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tyres in size P265/70R16.

The Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar features Goodyear’s Durawall Technology, which helps resist sidewall cuts and punctures. Its open tread pattern offers versatile off-road traction in wet, muddy conditions. A specialized tread compound and biting edges help grip the road in snow and rain. Rugged strength is provided by a layer of DuPont Kevlar.

“For decades, both Goodyear and Toyota have built a reputation on helping off-road enthusiasts conquer some of the world’s toughest terrains,” said Johann Finkelmeier, Goodyear’s vice president of North America original equipment sales. “Our Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar has been tuned specifically for the 2016 Tacoma to provide superior performance during everyday highway driving, while allowing drivers to go off-road at a moment’s notice.”
