Stephen Evans to open Tyrexpo Asia 2013

Tyrexpo Asia 2013 organiser ECI International has announced that Secretary General of the International Rubber Group Study (IRGS), Dr Stephen Evans, will be opening speaker at the biennial expo event to be held in Singapore in March 2013.

 

 

Evans heads the IRSG, which provides statistical data and analysis on the global rubber industry.

 

 

He said: “I am delighted to accept the invitation to open and make the keynote presentation at Tyrexpo Asia. As an important regional event bringing together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of delegates in Singapore, the show is of direct relevance and importance to the work of the IRSG.

 

 

“It will be a great opportunity to meet with and talk to people from all sectors of the international tyre industry.”

 

 

Evans is an experienced professional in the chemical industry with a career in leading chemical companies, Shell, and Kraton Performance Polymers. He was appointed Sec-Gen of the IRSG based in Singapore in 2010.

Tyrexpo Asia 2013 will put on show international tyre and workshop equipment including new tyres, tools, accessories, consumables, retreads, and garage machinery. (RJA)
