Ceat, ReadyAssist launch roadside assistance initiative for less than US$3 per vehicle

Indian tyre manufacturer CEAT Tyres (Ceat) has started a partnership with service provider ReadyAssist, as part of their Road-Side Assistance (RSA) programme, to offer round-the-clock vehicle maintenance services to their customers. The service offered, including puncture repair and emergency fuel delivery, will first be available in Bengaluru and Hyderabad; Ceat already has plans to expand across 20 cities in India within a one month.

The partnership complements Ceat’s existing business model and is an extension of the recently-launched Ceat doorstep services wherein customers can avail various services for their vehicles “anytime, anywhere.” The RSA programme will start for as low as INR200 (US$2.67) for puncture repair at the doorstep and sanitisation of key touchpoints for added safety of the customer.

Arnab Banerjee, Chief Operating Officer, CEAT Tyres commented, “By staying closer to our objective of making commute easy and safe for our customers, we have further enriched our business model. We have always ensured that our customers receive utmost care when they come to us, and with the RSA programme, we can now go to our customers to provide them range of our services, wherever and whenever they are needed.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with ReadyAssist in our endeavour to provide world-class road side assistance for cars and bikes. I am confident that the union of two customer-focused brands will result in top notch, on-the-spot services, reduced turnaround time and amplified customer satisfaction.”
