Ceat launches farm tyre range though specialty arm

Tyre manufacturer Ceat Ltd., through off-highway tyre (OHT) division Ceat Specialty Tyres, has virtually launched its new “Vardhan” farm tyre range in India this past week. Ceat Specialty offers a wide range of OHT tyres for various segments such as agricultural/farming, mining, and industrial and construction equipment, with Vardhan expected to perform in haulage applications in core farming activities.

The Vardhan range of tyres has been designed for less slippage and long tyre life with special deep lugs. Vardhan’s mud ejectors ensure excellent self-cleaning, and its wide tread design leads to larger footprint and increased overall load distribution and load-carrying capacity. The unique lug deflectors of the 4-rib tyres also provide puncture protection and reduced downtime.

“With Vardhan, we have an opportunity to serve our customers with a product of international standard(s). We are confident that our discerning customers will find in Vardhan a solid, dependable performer they eagerly waited for,” said Vijay Gambhire, Chief executive of Ceat Specialty Tyres.

Vardhan tyres will be available for customers in 12.4-, 13.6-, 14.9-, and 16.9-28 sizes for tractor (rear) as well as 6.00-16, 6.50-20, and 7.50-16 sizes for tractor (front).
