Ansell’s rubber stamp of approval

SYDNEY, Australia – The latex powerhouse Ansell Limited has sought to allay any investor concerns over the quality of its products by including some glowing testimonials in its annual report.

”My partner and I have recently tried new SKYN condoms by Ansell. We have concluded they are the best quality condom we have ever used. The polyisoprene material is very durable, thin and soft,” a clearly happy B. Crowley from Shelton, Connecticut, US, said. The satisfied customer added that his ”buddies agree that this new brand surpasses all others out there”.

”Working in customer service myself, I hear a lot of negative feedback and criticism. This taught me to not miss an opportunity to pass on a well-deserved compliment.”

There was also some good feedback on Ansell’s range of latex gloves.

Another content customer was Ansell’s Swedish chief executive, Magnus Nicolin, whose remuneration for the 12 months to June 30 rose to $US3.5 million. This is double what his predecessor Doug Tough was paid in his last full financial year. Nicolin’s package included his $US811,538 base salary, a $US1.17 million annual incentive and $US1 million in cash-based long-term incentives.
