Chinese tyre maker ZC Rubber envisions expanding global presence and technological innovation as the company garners robust sales in 2020. Speaking during its first Global Online Dealer Conference held in mid-March, Shen Jinrong, Chair of ZC Rubber Group, said the company would continue to strengthen its position through further global expansion and technological innovation after achieving a historic performance in 2020 as its sales revenue reached 28.22 billion RMB, increased by 2.25%. In 2020, ZC Rubber launched the new generation truck and bus tyres based on the latest design theory PSCT and the state-of-the-art Flagship Series passenger car tyres.
He also mentioned plans for a full digitalisation, focusing on smart manufacturing, Future Factory, equipped with cutting-edge facilities and digital technologies; and sustainable development. Its first Future Factory is expected to be completed by the middle of the year. The company is also planning on a new overseas plant in the US, Europe, or the Middle East.
Brand marketing is the company’s focus in 2021 to support its global distributors and retailers, according to Ge Guorong, Vice President of ZC Rubber Group. At the back of strong demand for several tyre segments, ZC Rubber said that it is targeting a 15% export growth this year.
