The Indian subsidiary of tyre manufacturer Yokohama Japan, Yokohama India, has opened an Exclusive Yokohama Club Network (YCN) outlet for its customers in Karnataka, southwest India.
Yokohama India has developed the YCN across India, based off Yokohama’s global philosophy to provide world-class tyre buying experience. The YCN outlet was a joint-project with Coorg Wheel Alignment () and will offer services including tyre changing, wheel alignment and balancing, and nitrogen gas filling as well as basic facilities of a one-stop tyre service centre.
Yokohama India’s Deputy General Manager, M.K. Appachu, has said partnerships with expert dealers and collective effort will ensure timely service to customers at Karnataka’s YCN.
Coorg Wheel Alignment has been dabbing in India’s tyre business for the past 10 years, and has a wide and loyal customer base in Kushal Nagar, Karnataka. Jagadeesh of Coorg Wheel Alignment is experienced in doing business with Yokohama: “Customer response for Yokohama tyres has been phenomenal – this encouraged us to partner with Yokohama and YCN.”
Yokohama India started its first manufacturing plant to supply India’s growing automobile industry in November 2014 and easily achieved its one millionth tyre production in 2016 – the company is currently in its 11th year of successful operations.
