German chemicals company Wacker Chemie AG has chosen Connecticut, US-based Foster Corporation, a provider of medical and pharmaceutical material solutions as the exclusive distributor of its Silpuran line of medical-grade silicone rubbers for the North American healthcare markets.
Starting March 1, Foster Corporation will provide sales, technical and order fulfillment support to customers from their regional stocking facilities in Nevada and Connecticut.
Silpuran liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and high consistency rubber (HCR) products are biocompatible, sterilisation resistant, and tested according to selected ISO 10993 and USP Class VI standards. These high-quality silicone rubbers are available in a range of hardnesses for use in applications such as drainage and feeding tubes, urinary catheters, syringe seals, and respiratory masks.
