JAPAN-headquartered Tokai Rubber Industries, Ltd has completed construction of the new automotive anti-vibration rubber factory in India Rajasthan Neem rana Industrial Park Phase, about 120km southwest of the centre of Dehli.
The 1.3 billion yen-worth facility becomes the second production base of automotive anti-vibration rubber for TRI in India, and is scheduled to commence mass production in November this year.
This new factory will serve as a point from which to supply automotive anti-vibration rubber to the vehicle production bases concentrated in northern India, and will be operated by TRI’s subsidiary company, Tokai Rubber Auto-Parts India (TRIN). This new factory combined with the factory it started operation at in the south near Bangalore mean that TRIN has now readied a two-pronged supply structure of automotive anti-vibration rubber in India.
