Goodyear Farm Tires, a Titan Tire Corporation brand, now offers the all-new Raindrop irrigation tyre.
The Raindrop features a non-directional tread pattern to ensure superior, equal traction in both forward and reverse for center pivot irrigation systems.
“The Raindrop design was a direct request from OEMs who require an irrigation tyre that can adapt to different pivoting angles while still providing excellent, multi-directional traction, especially in consistently wet soil conditions,” explains Scott Sloan, agricultural product manager for Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires.
The tyre’s wide, sturdy lug design allows for an extended ground footprint and improved puncture resistance-all with more stability compared to other irrigation tyres. The deep R-1 tread allows for superior traction in any direction, and the lug angles are designed to resist mud buildup for more stable, consistent operation of the irrigation system. The larger footprint also provides increased flotation and lower ground pressure, resulting in reduced soil compaction for better yields.
The Raindrop is currently available as a standard 380/70-24 size or a 380/60-28 LSW size.
