The Offshore Group welcomes rubber client in Mexico

Offshore-GroupBusiness assistance company Offshore Group is opening an office in Queretaro, Mexico to accommodate its two newest clients as well as future expansion plans.

“Our expansion into Queretaro will allow us to offer our services in an area that aligns with our current and future growth plans,” said Luis Felipe Seldner III, president of The Offshore Group. “Our team is excited about the growth we are experiencing and this move represents our commitment to build on the success that we have accomplished in Sonora and Coahuila.”

The Offshore Group will support two new clients in Queretaro, which will be up and running by the second quarter of 2016.

An international manufacturer with operations in Europe, Asia, the U.S. and South America, will begin producing its wide range of rubber seals for passenger cars and commercial vehicles out of its new Queretaro facility starting April 2016. The manufacturer’s arrival into the area will generate 80 jobs in 2016 and 90 in 2017.

Additionally, a manufacturer of carbon and stainless electric resistance welded (ERW) tubular steel products for truck, automotive and other markets will be fully operation in Queretaro by May 2016. The company’s expansion represents a US$5 million investment and will create 25 jobs in 2016.
