REGUPOL America, the inventor of recycled rubber flooring for athletic and commercial surfaces, is expanding its Pennsylvania headquarters.
According to the company. its campus at the business park will increase to 26 acres once the new plant is completed in 2015. The plans include an 11.7-acre addition adjoining the rear of Regupol’s existing plant that adds room for a 120,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. The buildings will be separate but attached by a ramp, and there will be additional room for further expansion.
“In 2008, the goal was to get the business off the ground, and I’m happy to say we’ve grown to the point where we have to expand,” said George Soukas, President of Regupol America. “The growth will create a substantial number of new, well-paying jobs.”
Regupol America, a US subsidiary of German-based BSW (Berleburger Schaumstoffwerk GmbH), manufactures recycled rubber products for acoustical control, sports and fitness surfaces and load securement. dpuf
