Passaic acquires rubber roller manufacturer

passaicNew Jersey-based Passaic Rubber Co has acquired Pershing Roller Corp, a manufacturer of small- to medium-sized rubber covered rollers from owner Bill Powers. Amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

Passaic purchased all Pershing assets, including equipment and presses, all of the special tooling designed and made by Powers, and the company’s customer list; but excluding Pershing’s factory in Bloomfield. All of the purchased assets were moved to Passaic’s 70,000-sq ft plant in Wayne.

According to Passaic, its latest acquisition is expected to increase sales within its rubber roller operation.
