Monique Leroux was appointed as a new member of the Michelin Supervisory Board last October 1. Leroux’s appointment will be subject to ratification by the General Meeting scheduled May 13 2016.
Monique Leroux will replace Laurence Parisot, who left the Supervisory Board after its meeting on July 23, 2015, as announced. The Supervisory Board also appointed Barbara Dalibard as President of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee, replacing Laurence Parisot.
Monique Leroux is president and CEO of Desjardins Group, the leading cooperative financial group in Canada since 2008.
She is a member of the boards of the International Cooperative Alliance, the Canadian company ACT Inc., the Crédit Industriel et Commercial (CIC), the European Association of Cooperative Banks and the International Confederation of Popular Banks. Leroux is also a member of various advisory committees with Canadian government entities.
