THIS YEAR< Indonesian palm oil producer PT Sampoerna Agro plans to cultivate up to 3,000 hectares of rubber, aside from planting up to 10,000 hectares of land for palm and 2,000 hectares for sago, according to a report by Reuters, adding that the South Sumatra-headquartered firm is allocating 80% of its 2014 total capital expenditure to expand its palm oil business.
