Minister Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin of Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities have visited Thailand for work.
In a statement made by the ministry today, Hamzah will be with the delegation comprising of representatives from the Malaysian Furniture Promotion Council, the Malaysian Timber Industries Board, the Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council and the Malaysian Rubber Board.
The ministry said that the reason why the delegation headed by Hamzah is visiting Thailand is to strengthen the cooperation of the two countries, Malaysia and Thailand in improving the rubber industry.
Hamzah will be discussing the cooperation in the development of the rubber industry as Thailand is one of the major export markets for Malaysia’s rubber products. (RJA)
