The celebrated motor firm, Ford Motor Company, has chosen the Goodyear Tyre & Rubber Company as the supplier for various car models from the 2013 Ford Fusion line.
Assurance Fuel Max, 215/60R16 size, Goodyear’s fuel-efficient tyre is the standard tyre for Ford’s Fusion ‘S’ model while the Luxury models and the Fusion SE with Appearance Package and Fusion Titanium will have the Goodyear Eagle LS in size 235/45R18.
The Assurance Fuel Max will feature tyres that are made of fuel-saving tread that will reduce energy as well as the wet and dry tread zone that will enhance the traction of tyres in all seasons. The Wet TreadZone features a special dual Aquachannel grooves that will take away the water from the treadface. The Dry TreadZone will improve the grip on dry pavements.
The Eagle LS-2 on the other hand, is an all-season tyre that has an improved traction. The wide circumferential grooves that it features will take the water away from the tread. It also features a special tread blocks to enhance the handling. (RJA)
