A rubber sheet factory in Nan, Thailand, was damaged in a fire recently.
Police said the fire started at the factory belonging to the Ban Huay Haed Rubber Cooperative in Phupiang district’s Tambon Faikaew early in the night.
Cooperative officials said the fire started from overheated rubber sheets being dried in a furnace with the damage estimated at about Bt25 million.
Officials said there was an explosive sound before the fire started.
