The Kerala State Cooperative Rubber Marketing Federation has decided to procure 5,000 tonnes of rubber in the first phase.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, federation office-bearers said that the procurement would be based on the government’s price stabilization project.

The procurement will be made through the federation’s members such as rubber marketing groups, purchase branches, and other cooperative groupings.

They said that the federation aims to promote organic manure through the launch of its Rubbermark Bharath Jaiva (gold).

It will be available in 1 kg and 2 kg packets and 5 kg, 10 kg, 25 kg, and 50 kg bags. – The Hindu
