Dynamic Tire Corp. has issued a recall for certain Towmax STR tyres. The tyres, size ST225/75 R15 manufactured June 15, 2014 to Oct. 14, 2014, may have the incorrect load capacity and inflation pressure stampings, the tyremaker said.
Since the stampings may be incorrect, the tyres fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 119, “New Pneumatic Tyres for Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars.” Drivers may over inflate their tyres, which may increase the risk of tyre failure.
Dynamic will notify owners and dealers and replace all eligible tyres free of charge.
