Leading tyre and rubber manufacturer Bridgestone today said it plans to open eight more super concept stores in various parts of the country by the end of this year to take the total to 48 by December.
“Bridgestone presently has 40 Concept stores in various parts of the country. The aim is to take it to 48 by this year end,” Tomio Fukuzumi, Managing Director Bridgestone India Private Ltd, told reporters.
The company, which opened its second concept store here today, plans to open one more facility in Kerala this year, most likely at Kollam, he said.
The aim of the company is to revolutionise the tyre buying experience with focus on safety, reliablity and eco friendliness, Vaibhav Saraf, General Manager (Sales and Marketing) said.
The concept store is being introduced as part of its aggressive expansion strategy.
This initiative will add a new dimension to the retailing of tyres in the region through the unique business model, he said.
The stores, besides showcasing Bridgestone’s complete product range, will provide services like tyre changer/RFT changer, tyre balancing, tyre alignment, nitrogen, AC top up battery, battery check up.
