BEUMER Group, a leading global supplier of automated material handling systems has launched its first automated material handling system, which is designed for the tyre production industry.
Beumer explained that the new tyre tray system automates the handling of tyres and provides full traceability and tracking of each tyre throughout the production process. The automated system includes the integration of release agent spray systems, as well as the buffering and curing processes. Its advanced features include fully automated loading and unloading; end-to-end tracking of tyres using RFID technology; and the ability to handle a wide variety of tyre sizes within a single system. In addition to system-wide visibility and control, detailed management statistics enable the system to be continually optimized to enhance process efficiency.
Beumer also added that workplace safety is ensured with the elimination of manual handling; at the same time, efficiency and process optimisation is enabled with this new tyre tray system.
