Avanzare Group, a Spain-based supplier of specialty additives, has launched Elastika by Avanzare, a new research and development unit focused on the rubber sector, strengthening its strategy to lead through innovation and collaboration in a competitive market. Elastika unites Avanzare’s materials experts, Nasika’s polymer-bound dispersions team, and researchers from the University of La Rioja to provide a scientific and academic approach, along with advanced basic and applied research, for the development of customised rubber solutions.
With a team of specialists that includes two PhDs in chemical sciences, process engineers, lab technicians and materials experts, Elastika draws on more than 80 years of combined industry experience. The unit is also set to expand with the addition of a third PhD and a materials science engineer.
Accordingly, Elastika aims to develop products that meet current demands and anticipate future trends, reinforcing Avanzare’s investment in the rubber sector and its role in sustainable, high-performance materials.
