Italian retreading firm Marangoni has tied up with tyre maker Prinx Chengshan Europe/Austone Tires to address the growing needs of customers and fleets to have additional casing sources by offering an integrated tyre solution that combines new and retreaded tyres.
The partnership has also introduced the first Austone tread design range: RTH155 tread ring based on Prinx’s Austone tyres.
This offering will be exclusive to the Marangoni customers including both new Austone Tires and retread solutions produced by
the Italian firm, ensuring that fleets benefit from extended tyre life and reduced overall operating costs, it adds.
A key highlight of this collaboration is the introduction of new Austone Tires, which are engineered to provide high level durability and performance. These tyres are specifically designed to complement Marangoni’s retreading process, offering fleet operators a complete
tyre solution that maximises their investment and minimises downtime, the firm says.
The partnership also addresses a significant challenge currently faced by the retread industry: the supply distribution due to the growing shortage of casings from European manufacturers.
Marangoni says it aims to ensure a consistent supply of the crucial component for retreading, quality casings. This strategic partnership not only mitigates the impact of casing shortages but also gives its customers and fleet customers a
reliable solution to maintain their operations without interruption.
