Chinese tyre company Doublestar recently launched the first green recycling of waste rubber “Industry 4.0” smart model base in the world. The launch was held in industrial area of Runan County, Henan Province.
The beginning of this project is expected to lead a rapid transformation from waste rubber recycling industry to smart factory and solve the pollution problem completed caused by waste rubber processing.
The project costs 600,000,000 yuan, covers 300 acres land, and can dispose 200,000 tons of waste rubber each year. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the end of December 2018.
The project will be set up in accordance with industry 4.0 standard, taking advantage of first-rate producing technology, and modern logistics production layout. It will include smart sorting, smart cleaning, smart stoving, smart conveying, smart pyrolysis, smart storage, smart control.
Meanwhile, the factory will also use the domestic-leading deodorant equipment and dust removal equipment which developed by Doublestar independently. And make a harmless dispose to the pollutant which caused in pyrolysis process. This project is also described by experts as a good project to reduce the worries for country and benefit the people, and is a typical practice of implementing the new development concept and the thought of “Environmental and Development.”
Waste tyres are regarded as “black pollutant.” According to statistics, with a large base and rapid increase, the amount of waste tyres in China has risen to 15 million tons in 2016. This has serious influence and endangers the quality of people’s daily life. What’s more, in addition to a renovation of tyres and producing recycled rubber and other primary usages, there are no approaches to make a completed recycled usage.
Most of the primary utilization method taken by small workshops will cause secondary pollution with small production scale, non-standard technology, narrow market demand. More than 60% waste tyres are “hidden” by them, inflicting harmful influence on future generations.
As a nearly 96-year-old state-owned enterprise and the of president unit of China Rubber Industry Association Tire Brand, Doublestar would take the responsibility to solve this big industry problem. In recent years, Doublestar integrated the global experts of rubber pyrolysis technology, and developed the recycling waste rubber (tyre) green intelligent equipment, which has solved the global 17 big waste rubber recycling problems. The equipment can split the waste tyres to primary oil (used as fuel after refining), carbon black (can be used for reproduction), steel wire (can be reused through smelting) and gas (usable energy), and the recycling utilization rate reaches 100%. The equipment has also been recognized by leading experts as filling the global technology blank and reaching the international advanced level.
Under the background of National Supply-Side Reform, Internet+, China Manufacturing 2025, environmental protection policy and State-owned Enterprise Reform, Doublestar accelerated the transformation from “Sweat” to “Smart” enterprise and opened the the IOT ecosystem of Service 4.0 and Industry 4.0, to achieve all process operation of Industry 4.0 smart factory. Doublestar has been approved as the leading company of Chinese tyre smart manufacturing. At the same time, Doublestar always adheres to science and technology innovation, and continuously promotes the industrial upgrading, and build the world’s leading R&D center and laboratory. Not only has accelerated the reform of enterprise intelligence, also has a subversive new technologies, new forms and new patterns, creating three new industries of promising smart equipment, smart logistics (including robot) and green recycling of waste rubber and plastic industry.
This waste rubber green recycling smart “4.0” industrial model base in Runan is just the first step of Doublestar’s waste rubber green recycling project of “One Center, Four Bases”. Doublestar will create an industrial mode and promote, to create green recycling of waste rubber “Joint Fleet”, to develop the waste rubber recycling industry to be more environment-friendly.
