The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) will be holding the National Rubber Conference – 2017 along with the International Conference and Exhibition on Polymers (ICEP) at Guwahati from February 23 to 25, 2018.
An agreement has been signed between ICC director-general Rajeev Singh and AIRIA president Kamal K. Chowdhury.
The objective of the joint initiative is to contribute with value addition in natural rubber, latex, polymer, footwear and its allied industries. The key decision makers from the industries, rubber planters, government establishments, PSUs and esteemed educational institutions will engage themselves with the programme to ensure that the exhibition will offer abundant opportunities to explore and exchange the emerging resources and immense potential of the North Eastern Region.
The National Rubber Conference 2017 will highlight on “Make in India: Import Substitution & Product Innovation.”
The Conference will engage erudite speakers of the industry, domestic and international associations as well as key foreign and Indian academic institutions.
ICC is the premier body of business and industry with a strong foothold in the eastern and north-eastern part of India. AIRIA is one of the premier industry associations in the country and is the face of the Indian rubber industry.
