CHINA’s so-called Silicon Valley-styled Rubber Valley is to make its rubber-related patents available online. A company known as Qingdao Rubber Valley Intellectual Property Information Center has been established by the China Intellectual Property Publishing House and Rubber Valley. The new company aims to act as a one-stop-shop for all intellectual property rights issues in China’s rubber industry. The first batch of patents is reportedly already online and available for searching. Rubber Valley community already is host to over 600 rubber-related companies, from R&D, production and rubber processing.(PRA)
