The Rubber Board organizes a one-day training in rubber planting operations at Rubber Training Institute, Kottayam on 29 March 2016. The course content includes land preparation, lining, pitting, terracing and planting of rubber. The fee for training is Rs. 400/- (14.5 per cent service tax extra). For boarding and lodging facility, Rs. 250/- will be charged extra per day per participant. SC/ST candidates will be given fifty per cent concession in fee on production of caste certificate. Members of Rubber Producers Societies will get twenty five percent concessions in fee on production of membership certificate.
The payment may be made by money order or demand draft drawn in favour of Director (Training), Rubber Board, Kottayam-9, Kerala payable at Kottayam. Application on white paper along with fee may be forwarded to Director (Training), Rubber Training Institute, Rubber Board PO, Kottayam-686 009, Kerala State. The fee can also be paid direct to Account No.1450300184 of Central Bank of India (IFS Code-CBIN 0284156). In that case the copy of the bank receipt should be enclosed with the application. Application through email (email: training@rubberboard.org.in) along with scanned copy of the bank receipt is also acceptable.
