Linglong Tyre to build plant in Thailand

 

Chinese company Shandong Linglong Tyre Co. Ltd., one of the top 20 tyre makers in the world has just signed a contract with Hemaraj Land and Development to buy 49 hectares of land to build a new manufacturing facility in the Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate in Rayong Province, Thailand.

 

 

According to the President of the Shangdong Linglong Tyres, Wang Feng, the company has been granted a privilege by the Thailand’s Board of Investment to produce radial tyres for light trucks and passenger cars with an investment of 3,500 million baht. He said that the upstream to downstream supply chain of the Hemaraj ESIE makes it the best location for the new plant they are planning to build.

 

 

Hemaraj is popular for its world-class industrial estate development.

 

 

The construction of the new plant will start in January of next year and is expected to be finished after a year with the capacity of 2 million units annually. (RJA)
