Japanese Yokohama Rubber’s fully-owned subsidiary, Yokohama India, has just opened the doors of its first retail store in Mangalore, Karnataka, under the region’s leading tyre dealer Good Wheel. The Yokohama Club Network (YCN) store in Mangalore is the latest in a specialised network of outlets based on Yokohama’s global philosophy to provide world-class tyre purchases; Good Wheel is integral to Yokohama India’s growth strategy in that regard.
Deputy General Manager of Yokohama India, M.K. Appachu, said, “Yokohama India is already being recognised for its Earth 1 tyres for Indian roads and Geolander tyres for SUV’s. When you add the YCN level of Global standard services, it’s a winner for the people coming to Good Wheel”.
The Director of Good Wheels, GH Abubakar Siddique, similarly said, “We have been in the tyre business for the last ten years. Therefore, on this momentous occasion, it was also important to provide upgraded services on par with global tyre buying experiences that our customers will enjoy – becoming a YCN thus gives us that opportunity.”
