The tyre will be manufactured at the company’s plant in Georgia, making it the first tyre for the company to be entirely made in the US, Off-Road.com reported.
The Open Country R/T will be situated in the Toyo Tires lineup between its A/T II all-terrain tyre and its M/T mud-terrain tyre.
The new tyre has a tread design, which provides both off-road and on- road characteristics and it can be used on trucks and SUV’s, Off-Road.com reported.
The company’s present Open country A/T II is an all season tyre that features a thread design which provides traction in poor conditions, and it offers 40% more treadlife than other tiers.
