ITALIAN tyre maker Pirelli has launched its new Angel GT sports touring motorcycle tyres at the Morgan Park Raceway in Australia.
Don Nicholas is national manager for Pirelli Moto at Link International at Yatala on the Gold Coast Highway said that Pirelli is the official tyre brand for the World Superbike Championships, also estimating that half the riders at Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland race meetings at Morgan Park put their trust in Pirelli tyres.
Nicholas said the tyres had been independently tested as number one for mileage. “These tyres are for recreation and sport, a ride on the weekend,” he further commented.
According to Pirelli’s website, the tyres are “certified by the authoritative independent body Motorrad TestCenter as the tyre with the highest mileage in its sgment. The the most recent addition to the Pirelli family boasts a sports pedigree typical of Pirelli products and high performance on dry roads as well as wet for the entire life cycle of the product.”
