New Ultra SprayerVF announced by Goodyear farm tyres

Goodyear Farm Tires is expanding its Ultra Sprayer line, which is now available with Very High Flexion (VF) technology. The Goodyear Ultra Sprayer VF can carry 40 percent higher loads at the same inflation pressure as a standard radial, or carry the same load at 40 percent lower inflation pressures than a standard radial, resulting in improved flotation and reduced soil compaction.

“Today’s sprayers are heavier than ever before — many featuring 1,300-gallon tanks and 140-foot booms. So, it can be challenging finding a narrow sprayer tyre that’s able to carry the heavy loads while maintaining traction and flotation,” said Scott Sloan, agricultural product manager for Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires. “That’s where the Ultra Sprayer VF comes in. It’s built to perform on the heaviest machines on the market.”

The Goodyear Ultra Sprayer line is also available in conventional and Increased Flexion (IF) technology. All Ultra Sprayer models feature a sprayer-specific lug design with a wider, sturdier lug and more lug-bracing than a standard R-1 tyre, which results in increased durability, a smoother ride and excellent traction. The Ultra Sprayer also features the latest stubble-resistant tread compound and reinforced sprayer carcass for long tyre life.

The Ultra Sprayer VF is currently available in VF380/90R46 sizes, while the Ultra Sprayer and Ultra Sprayer IF are available in 10 different sizes ranging from 320/90R46 to 380/105R50. Goodyear Farm Tires offers the industry’s most extensive lineup of tyres built specifically for sprayers.

Goodyear Farm Tires is American-owned and manufactured by Titan Tire Corporation, a subsidiary of Titan International, in Des Moines, Iowa, and Freeport, Ill.
