BKT Tires, which is one of the companies owned by India based Balkrishna Industries Ltd’s American group and which recently opened a branch in Brentwood, Tennessee, will adopt new strategies to complement its high growth and increased presence in the North and Central American markets.

New business premises dedicated to the OTR sector will be introduced, as well as an extended management team through two entries. Two innovative strategically positioned warehouses have also been introduced: one in Wando, South Carolina on the Atlantic Coast and the other in the West Coast in Wilmington in California.

“Our new offices fully reflect the culture and values of innovation that are distinguishing for BKT. This state-of-the-art structure enables our employees to excel in their work,” President of BKT Tires Shawn Rasey said.

“Our objective has always been to offer excellent service and ensure top product quality to our network of specialized distributors serving the entire region of North and Central America,” he added.

In addition to these strategies, two new key staff have joined BKT Tires: Adrian Leu as Field Technical Services Manager and Siri Speegle as OTR Marketing Manager. Leu has a 16-year long experience leading global tyre manufacturers and is expected to ensure the maximum quality of BKT products marketed in the US, as well as control the performance via new product testing and giving important feedback to support the R&D team activities.

Meanwhile, Speegle is in charge of the distribution channel management of BKT Tires, as well as its marketing and communication strategy. She also oversees the brand marketing campaigns and work closely with BKT Europe to supervise group activities.

BKT Tires started in 1995, and prides itself as having more than 2,000 SKU’s (Stock Keeping Units). It exports to more than 120 countries across all continents, and has a strong industry presence in Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
