Michelin India has introduced Michelin LTX Force range of SUV tyres in India to bolster their product portfolio.
Michelin LTX Force tyres, designed to conquer all types of terrain, offer unmatched durability, superior grip on-road and higher traction off-road, according to the French tyre company.
Mohan Kumar, Commercial Director, Michelin India said, “The SUV market is one of the fastest growing segments in India. Industry estimates indicate one in four vehicles sold last year was an SUV and as more Indians opt for SUV’s, this segment is estimated to continue growing, both in cities and upcountry towns. Michelin LTX Force uses Compact Tread Technology which takes advantage of two seemingly contradictory performances: excellent durability plus grip. The tread pattern inspired by endurance races is designed to provide a greater contact area thanks to higher tread blocks which favour both durability and traction, said Michelin India.
Michelin LTX Force tyres last up to 35% more than its main competitors in this segment. It also ensures greater control in the event of aquaplaning, without compromising on its longevity.On asphalt roads, Michelin LTX FORCE offers maximum safety in wet roads with a braking distance of as much as 2 metres shorter than its average rival in the dual-purpose tyre category.
Motorsport provides Michelin and other tyre firms a venue to test tyres in the most extreme conditions. These tyres have been tested in extreme mining conditions to ensure off-road traction and robustness. Michelin LTX FORCE is another example of our ‘track to road’ philosophy.
